Events / Downtown Los Angeles
Puffco is shutting down a piece of downtown LA for two days this October. Metro Boomin and Action Bronson on the bill, over a hundred glass artists in one room, and a lot of stuff you cannot get anywhere else. Here is what is confirmed, what it costs, and the one rule that catches people out every single year.
What Puffcon actually is
Puffcon started as a small meetup for people who owned a Peak. Six years later it is a full street takeover in downtown LA and Puffco calls it the biggest hash celebration in the world. That is marketing language but it is not really an exaggeration, because there is nothing else that puts this many glass artists, brands, and heads in one place at one time.
It is not a trade show. Nobody is walking around with a badge and a lanyard trying to sell you distribution software. It is a block party with a stage, a market, and a crowd that actually knows the difference between a 3D chamber and a banger.
Puffco CEO Roger Volodarsky put it plainly when the lineup dropped, saying "Everything about Puffcon starts with the community." The programming backs that up. This is the sixth annual run.
The 2026 lineup
Two full days of music, different headliner each day.
Saturday, October 3
Metro Boomin
- Curren$y
- OhGeesy
- BIA
- Plus additional performers across the day
Sunday, October 4
Action Bronson & The Human Growth Hormone
- The Alchemist & Boldy James
- TiaCorine
- Jesse Royal
- Plus additional performers across the day
Puffco has said more names are coming and that the lineup is subject to change, so set order and day placement can shift. Around a dozen more acts sit under the names above across the two days.
The Glass Village is the real event
If you only look at the music you are missing the point. Puffcon brings more than a hundred functional glass artists together in one place, which makes it arguably the largest annual gathering of this work anywhere on the planet.
These are working artists. Some have been on the torch for twenty years. Pieces are one offs, they get signed, they trade on a secondary market, and collectors chase specific makers the same way people chase specific painters. Names on the bill this year include:
There is live glassblowing on site too, so you can watch the work happen rather than just buying the finished piece off a table. Bring cash and bring patience. The good tables go early on Saturday and the artists are usually happy to talk you through the work if you are not rushing them.
Only at Puffcon
The part people underestimate. Between the sets there is a whole second event running, and most of it is not on any other festival lineup in the city.
Feast Street with Smorgasburg LA
New for 2026. Puffco teamed up with Smorgasburg LA on the food program, bringing in top vendors with dishes made specifically for the event and a spread built to cover most dietary situations. No outside food or drink is allowed in, so plan to eat here.
Kenny's Penny Arcade
A full arcade activation on site. Good place to kill an hour between sets or ride out the middle of the afternoon when the sun is doing its thing on the lot.
Jonesy's Silent Disco
Headphones, multiple channels, no noise ordinance problem. Usually runs alongside the main stage so you are not choosing between the two, and it tends to get going later in the day.
Puffee's VIP Lounge
The dedicated VIP space, and the main reason to consider upgrading past general admission. Shade, seating, and a break from the density of the lot.
Bear Mountain Studios Gauntlet Challenge
A competitive activation run by Bear Mountain Studios. Details are thin ahead of the event but the gauntlet format has historically drawn a crowd, so get there early if you want to actually participate rather than watch.
Immersive art experiences
Installation and environment work spread through the venue. Los Angeles Center Studios has the square footage for it, which is a big part of why the event moved there.
Brand activations and exclusive drops
The Puffcon Lot is where the drops live. Puffco's event page lists over 75 brands present, and the official flyer calls out 50 plus brand activations, which are two different things. The larger number is total brands with a presence on site. The smaller one is brands running an actual build out with something to do at it. Either way it is a lot of ground to cover in two days.
Exclusive Puffcon releases are the draw. Puffco has historically used Puffcon to drop colorways and pieces that never hit normal retail, and once they are gone they are gone. First come, first served, no holds, no reserves.
If there is something specific you want, get there when doors open rather than rolling in for the headliner. The people who show up at 2pm on Saturday get the drops. The people who show up at 6pm get the story about the drops.
Tickets and pricing
VIP and add on tiers exist and are sold through the same page. Pricing moves in tiers and climbs as each tier sells through, so the numbers above are what was listed at the time of writing and will likely be higher later in the year. Early tiers were noticeably cheaper. Tickets are on puffcon.com.
Two things worth knowing before you buy. All sales are final, rain or shine, no refunds and no exceptions. And there is a strict no resale policy, meaning only the original ticket holder gets in and your ID has to match the name on the ticket. Do not buy from a reseller, it will not work.
The device rule that trips everyone up
Saturday, 2 Day and VIP tickets require a Puffco device
To get in on Saturday, or with a 2 Day or VIP ticket, you have to own a Peak Pro, Peak, Proxy or Pivot. You enter the serial number during checkout, and you have to physically show up with the fully assembled device so it can be verified at the gate.
Sunday GA is the exception. That one is open to everybody, no device required.
This is the thing that goes wrong every year. People grab a Saturday or 2 Day ticket in the summer, forget about the serial number requirement, and then scramble in late September. A partial setup will not clear the gate. It needs to be the real device, assembled, with a serial that matches what you entered.
Plus One and Plus Two tickets are add ons that a device owner buys at checkout. Your guests have to walk up at the same time as you, and they get in once your serial is verified on your assembled device. A Plus One is a privilege, not a name on a list, so if you show up separately expect problems.
Need a device before October?
1321 is an authorized Puffco retailer in Venice, about twenty minutes from the venue. Peak Pro 3DXL, Proxy, Proxy Core, Pivot, Peak and Hot Knife, all with real serials and full warranty coverage. Buy from a grey market seller and you may find the serial does not verify.

Bring
- Your ID. It has to match the name on the ticket, no exceptions.
- Your fully assembled Puffco device if your ticket type requires it.
- An empty water bottle. There are refill stations, or you can buy a Puffcon bottle on site.
- Cash for the glass artists.
- A bag no larger than 10 x 5 x 8. Anything bigger has to be clear.
Leave at home
- Tobacco products for use on site, including cigarettes and vapes. That is a venue policy, not a Puffco one.
- Alcohol, outside food and outside drinks.
- Coolers, cans and glass bottles.
- Professional cameras, video cameras and selfie sticks.
- Drones, laser pointers, air horns and noisemakers.
- Weapons of any kind, pepper spray and mace.
- Full face masks, chains and chain wallets.
- Skateboards, bikes and powered personal vehicles.
- Flags, banners, posters and flyers.

Worth noting: there are no cannabis sales on site. In a city sitting in the middle of the biggest legal market in the world, that surprises people. Plan accordingly.
Getting there from the Westside
Los Angeles Center Studios sits at 450 S Bixel Street in DTLA, just off the 110. From Venice you are looking at roughly twenty to forty minutes depending on when you leave, and Sunday afternoon is a much easier drive than Saturday. Parking downtown on an event weekend is its own sport, so rideshare or Metro is usually the smarter call. The Expo Line runs from Santa Monica straight into downtown.
Doors are strict on line up times. No lining up before 12pm on Saturday or 11am on Sunday.
