On almost every e-rig the vapor travels through a channel molded into the body, and over months that channel fills with reclaim you cannot reach. Airflow tightens, flavor turns, and there is nothing you can do short of replacing the device. The Carta Sport runs the vapor through the Carta Connect instead, a removable silicone airpath that lifts straight out. Soak it, rinse it, drop it back in. Cleaning goes from a job you keep putting off to about a minute.

The rest is deliberately simple. One button, no screen. Five clicks to unlock, one to cycle the heat settings, two to fire. Five temperatures from 480 up to 565, and if you want deeper control the Focus V app handles it over Bluetooth rather than cluttering the device.

The battery is about 35 percent bigger than the Carta 2 it replaced. Expect somewhere near 50 sessions at the lowest setting, roughly 30 to 35 in the middle of the range, and 20 or so if you live at 565. It runs both concentrate and dry herb depending on which Intelli-Core atomizer you load.

Care

Pull the glass top, lift the atomizer, then lift the Connect out back end first. Soak the Connect and the glass, swab the atomizer contact, dry everything before it goes back together. Reinstall the Connect by lining up the airpath, snapping the back in, then pressing the front down.
