HEMPER could have printed a takeout box on a cylinder and called it done. Instead the body is blown as the box, frosted, with the classic red decals, and the mouthpiece is an amber glass chopstick coming out the side. It reads correctly from across the room, which is the entire test for a piece like this.

The function is not an afterthought either. A five slit dome percolator sits inside, the showerhead style that splits vapor into fine streams for a cooler, softer draw. At 5.3 inches it is one of the more compact tops in the range, so it does not turn your Peak into something you have to find space for.

Care
