The novelty is a snail with orange eye decals and a shell pattern wrapped round the chamber. The function is a large showerhead percolator, which splits the draw across many holes at once and is a genuine step up from the single slit you usually get at this size.

The joint is recessed rather than sticking out, so the bowl sits tucked into the body and is far less likely to snap if the piece goes over. Six by six inches, which is squat and stable rather than tall and tippy.
