A toothless grinder that works like a kitchen mortar, in aluminum and black walnut.

Instead of two sets of teeth shearing against each other, this uses a solid aluminum pestle you press and turn, so the material is crushed and opened up rather than shredded. That keeps the grind looser and the trichomes more intact, which is the same argument milling makes against teeth.

Four pieces at two inches across, with a black walnut sleeve around an anodized aluminum body and a magnetic closure holding it shut. It is built to sit out on a counter rather than live in a drawer.
