Two and an eighth inches is the size that stops being fiddly without becoming a countertop object. Twenty seven teeth across the lid and lower plate cut faster than the small, and the patented profile pulls material through rather than compressing it, so the lid keeps turning under a full load.

Under the teeth sits a mesh screen and a kief chamber, collecting as you go. Deep threading with a friction ring keeps the halves seated squarely, a rare earth magnet holds the lid shut in a bag, and the knurled wall gives grip when your hands are cold or wet.

Which size

The small 4 piece is the pocket version at 19 teeth. The jumbo goes to four inches across for volume. And the large 3 piece drops the kief screen in exchange for a bigger single chamber and a scoopable base.
