The Classic is purely electromechanical, and that is the entire argument for it. There is nothing to update, nothing to pair, and nothing to go obsolete. You turn a dial to a number between one and nine, the light goes out when it is ready, you fill a bag. People are still running twenty year old units.

Full convection heating, which means the air is heated and then passed through the material rather than the chamber walls cooking it. That is why the vapor is clean and why the flavor holds across a whole balloon. Draw resistance off an Easy Valve balloon is essentially zero, so anyone can use it regardless of lung capacity.

Hand built in Germany out of materials chosen to last rather than to hit a price. There is a 24 carat gold plated version, and a limited 25th Anniversary run in iridescent green.

Worth knowing

No auto shutoff on this one. That is a deliberate design choice on a purely mechanical device, but it does mean you turn it off yourself. Balloons and mouthpieces are consumables and want replacing every couple of weeks.
