The 20 flute rotor rolls flower across the milling screen instead of shredding it through teeth, so it crumbles along the lines it would break on anyway. What lands in the catch is fluffy and even and ready to roll, and it takes seconds. Stems stay up top rather than getting chopped into the mix.

The 2.5 inch holds up to 2.5g at a time, which is the difference between milling once and milling three times for the same session. Aircraft grade 6061 aluminum, a magnetic top that keeps everything sealed while you work, and a quarter turn quick release on the lower catch. It comes fully apart for cleaning.

Read this before you order plates

The Standard uses a fixed mill plate. It will not take the interchangeable Premium plates, and that is the single thing people get wrong when they buy accessories for it. If changing grind consistency matters to you, you want the Premium Stainless instead.
