An inline perc lies sideways across the base rather than standing up in it, so the draw passes along a row of slits and spreads across the full width of the water instead of punching through one column. It is a cleaner, lower drag mechanism than a stack of small percs, and it wipes out easily because there is nothing to trap resin in.

Above it, three separate ice notches rather than the usual one, so a full load of cubes stays stacked in the neck instead of sliding down into the water. At 15.75 inches with a 14mm female joint and a 14mm bowl in the box, this is the piece to buy if temperature is what you care about.

Against the straight tubes

The 15" and 18" tubes run a shower perc and a single ice catch and cost less. This one trades a little height for a better perc and three times the ice, and it is the only piece in the range that comes in colour.
