Yes, Puffco raised prices in August 2026. Here is every device, what it was, and what it costs now.
The short answer
The increase landed August 2026 and it hit the devices hardest. The Peak Pro 3DXL went from $389 to $439, the Peak and the Proxy Core Kit both went from $199 to $239, and the Pivot went from $109 to $139. Most chambers and glass held, with the Peak 3D Chamber the notable exception. Nothing was discontinued.
Every new Puffco price
These are the current prices at 1321, an authorized Puffco retailer. The left column is what each one cost before the August 2026 change.
| Device | Was | Now | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pivot | $109 | $139 | +$30 |
| Peak | $199 | $239 | +$40 |
| Proxy Core Kit | $199 | $239 | +$40 |
| Proxy Pipe Kit | $235 | $265 | +$30 |
| Peak Pro 3DXL Onyx, Pearl | $389 | $439 | +$50 |
| Peak Pro 3DXL Plasma | $439 | $445 | +$6 |
| Hot Knife Onyx, Haze | $50 | $58 | +$8 |
| Hot Knife Plasma | $50 | $59 | +$9 |
| Peak Pro 3DXL Chamber Black, Plasma | $90 | $95 | +$5 |
| Peak 3D Chamber | $49 | $58 | +$9 |
What did not change
This is the part most price roundups miss. Most of the consumables and adapters held, which matters more than it sounds, because they are what you actually rebuy.
So for Pivot, Proxy and Peak Pro owners, the cost of keeping the device running is the same as it was. Peak owners are the exception: that chamber moved from $49 to $58, which is the one running cost that did go up.
Where the increase actually bites
In dollar terms the Peak Pro 3DXL took the biggest hit at $50. In percentage terms it is the other end of the range that moved most. The Pivot went up 27 percent and the Peak and Proxy Core Kit both went up 20 percent, while the 3DXL only moved about 13 percent.
That flattens the ladder. The gap between the cheapest Puffco and the flagship used to be $280 and is now $300, but the entry price rose proportionally faster than the flagship did. If you were choosing between a Pivot and a Peak on price alone, the decision is closer than it was. Our Pivot vs Proxy vs Peak Pro comparison walks through which one actually suits how you use it.
Why did Puffco raise prices?
We have not seen a public explanation from Puffco, so we are not going to invent one. We can only speak to what we were told as a retailer, which is that the new pricing took effect in August. If that changes we will update this page.
Watch out for stale prices
For the next few months you will find listings still showing $389 for a Peak Pro 3DXL or $50 for a Hot Knife. Some of those are just cached pages and abandoned product feeds that nobody has updated. Some of them are not.
A live listing well under current pricing on a current-generation Puffco is worth a second look. Grey market and counterfeit units are priced to look like a bargain, and they do not carry a warranty Puffco will honour. Buying from an authorized retailer is the only way to be certain the unit is real and covered.
If you were about to buy
Three things worth knowing. Nothing in the lineup was discontinued, so there is no urgency created by anything disappearing. If you were planning to pick up a spare Proxy or Pivot chamber or a glass adapter, those held their price and there is no reason to wait. And the Pivot at $139 is still the cheapest way onto the platform by a wide margin.
If you want the full ladder including accessories rather than just the change, that lives on our Puffco price guide, which we keep current.
Common questions
Did Puffco raise prices in 2026?
Yes. Puffco raised prices in August 2026 across most of the device range, including the Peak Pro 3DXL, the Peak, the Proxy Core Kit, the Proxy Pipe Kit, the Pivot and the Hot Knife.
How much did the Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL go up?
The Onyx and Pearl went from $389 to $439, an increase of $50. The Plasma limited edition went from $439 to $445.
Did Puffco chamber and accessory prices go up too?
Mostly no, with two exceptions. The Peak Pro Link stayed at $110, the Pivot Glass Adapter at $55, the Pivot 3D Chamber 2-pack at $49, and the Proxy 3D Chamber at $48. The two that moved are the Peak Pro 3DXL Chamber, where Black and Plasma are now $95 while Silver held at $90, and the Peak 3D Chamber, which went from $49 to $58.
How much is a Puffco Peak chamber now?
The Peak 3D Chamber is $58. It was $49 before the August 2026 increase, making it the only standard replacement chamber in the lineup whose price moved. The Proxy 3D Chamber is still $48 and the Pivot 3D Chamber 2-pack is still $49.
What is the cheapest Puffco now?
The Pivot at $139. It went up $30 in the August 2026 increase but remains the least expensive way into the Puffco platform.
Is it still worth buying a Puffco after the price increase?
That depends on what you are replacing. If you are coming from a torch and banger setup, the value case has not changed much, since most running costs held steady and mainly the entry cost moved. If you already own a working Peak or Proxy, there is no new reason to upgrade that the increase created.
