Which plates fit which Flower Mill
Plates are size specific and they do not cross over. Every mill ships with the #3 Medium; these are the ones you add.

Pro plates are thicker, cut with a keyed notch that locks into the mill, and the #1 and #2 have chamfered bottoms so fine material passes through instead of clumping. Silicone mill grips
Slips over the rotor for a softer hold and better control, and takes the knocks the body would otherwise take. BPA free silicone, washes with soap and water. Match the grip to your mill size.

Which grind plate should I use?
Go finer (#1 or #2) for a faster, even burn and for vaporizers; go coarser (#4 or #5) for more airflow and a slower, cooler burn in pipes and bowls. #3 Medium, which ships with every mill, is the everyday all-rounder. #6 Coarse XL is a Pro-only plate for pre-processing and rolling in volume.
Do the mill plates fit my Flower Mill?
Only if the sizes match. 2.0" plates fit the Premium 2.0", 2.5" plates fit the Premium 2.5", and the thicker keyed Pro plates fit the 3.5" Pro only. None of them cross over, and the Standard mills use a single fixed plate that cannot be changed.
What is different about the 3.5" Pro plates?
They are noticeably thicker so they process faster and will not bend under a full 7g load, they lock into the mill with a keyed notch, and the #1 and #2 have chamfered bottoms so fine material passes through instead of clumping. The lineup also adds a #6 Coarse XL that does not exist in the smaller sizes.
Should I buy the 3.5" Pro Kit or the plates separately?
Pro plates run $25 to $35 each, so five extra plates plus the grip already cover the difference between the mill and the Pro Kit before the jar adaptor and case come into it. If you want plates at all, buy the Kit.
Which grip size do I need?
Match the grip to your mill: the 2.0" grip for a 2.0" mill, the 2.5" grip for a 2.5" mill, Standard or Premium. Both come in Neon Green or Clear. The 3.5" grip currently comes only in the Pro Kit.
How do I keep my Flower Mill running smoothly?
A thin coat of Mill Wax after every wash and any time it feels stiff. It is an organic hemp seed oil and beeswax blend made specifically for the mill, and one tin lasts a long time. A mill that feels stiffer after a clean needs wax, not replacing.
