Twenty one pieces, five makers, and a straight answer on which one belongs on your Peak.

A glass top is the least expensive thing you can do to a Peak that actually changes how it feels. Same rig, same chamber, different draw. Swap the top and the hit comes back cooler, smoother or quieter depending on what you put up there, and the rig stops looking like every other Peak on the table. It is also the one Puffco part you are allowed to have fun with. Here is everything we carry, what each piece does, and how to narrow it down.

Wet, dry and recycler

Three categories cover the whole collection, and picking the category first makes the rest easy.

Wet tops hold water, which cools and filters the vapor on the way to you. Most of the collection is wet, and it is the safe first swap because it is the change people notice immediately.

Recyclers push that water around a loop so it never sits still, which keeps vapor in contact with moving water for longer than a straight perc manages. Smoothest pull in the category, and a lot to watch while you take it. They also hold residue in more places, so they want draining and rinsing after every session.

Dry tops skip water altogether. Nothing to fill, nothing to drain, nothing to spill in a bag, and no splashback when you pull hard. There is one in the range and it is the one to travel with.

Everything below fits the Puffco Peak, the New Peak and the Peak Pro, with two exceptions noted where they apply. All borosilicate, all hand finished, so no two come out quite identical.

Puffco's own glass, the baseline

Everything else on this page is aftermarket. This part is not. Puffco make two replacement pieces of their own, and they are worth knowing about for two reasons. They are what you want if you cracked the glass your rig came with, and they are the thing every top further down is quietly being compared against.

Peak Glass 2.0 · wet, dual stacked chamber

Two hand blown borosilicate chambers stacked inside one piece, with two sets of laser cut perc holes at the base feeding air in evenly. More filtration and less drag than the original Peak glass, and you can watch the internals working, which is why people buy this one as an upgrade and not only as a replacement. It lifts off the base and drops back on, so cleaning means pulling the glass and soaking it rather than working around the device. Fits the Peak and the Peak Pro. It does not fit the Proxy or the Pivot, which use their own glass entirely. See the Peak Glass 2.0.

Peak Pro Glass 2.0 · wet, five etched percs

An interior cone sends vapor down into the water before it rises, and there are five percolation points etched into the base rather than drilled. More percs and a higher water line than the glass a Peak Pro ships with, so the pull lands cooler and softer. This one is Peak Pro only. It does not fit the original Peak, which takes the Peak Glass 2.0 instead, and the two are genuinely easy to mix up, so check which device you have before ordering. See the Peak Pro Glass 2.0.

MJ Arsenal, the engineered end

Plateau · wet, 6" x 4"

The straightforward upgrade. A base connected perc doing honest filtration, an architectural silhouette, and a wide footprint that will not tip when someone reaches across the table. It costs less than the recyclers and it cleans faster because there is less internal geometry to trap anything. Most of the cooling benefit people actually notice, none of the fuss. See the Plateau.

Typhoon · wet recycler, 6.125" x 3.125"

A double uptake recycler pulls water up two paths at once and loops it back down, over a base connected perc. Cooler and smoother than a straight perc, and it puts on a show while you take it. Worth knowing before you search for it: this piece used to be sold as the Tempest. Same glass, new name. See the Typhoon.

Lasso · wet recycler, 6.1" x 3.0"

Looping recycler pathways instead of a single straight climb, handblown, and the most obviously heady piece MJ Arsenal makes for the Peak. It is genuinely splash resistant too, so you can pull hard without getting water in your mouth, which is the failure mode that puts people off recyclers in the first place. See the Lasso.

Fabcycler · wet, fab egg and recycler, 7.75"

Two functions stacked. The fab egg chamber gives vapor room to expand and swirl, and the recycler loops water back through instead of letting it sit. Together they take more heat out of a dab than any single perc in the range. At nearly eight inches it is the tallest top we carry, so it turns a Peak into a centerpiece rather than a portable. Alpine Halo · wet, multi-slit perc, 5.8"

Milled black walnut on glass, shaped like a mug so it sits in the hand. The handle matters more than it sounds when the base of a Peak is warm and the rig is going around. A multi-slit percolator breaks vapor into finer streams so flavor holds through the second half of a dab. Damp cloth on the walnut, never soak the wood. See the Halo.

Quadra · dry, 4.25" x 1.75"

The only dry top in the collection and the most portable thing you can put on a Peak. Four columns spread the vapor and give it distance to cool on the way up, so you get some of the smoothing effect of a perc with none of the maintenance. Designed with Andy Roth. HEMPER, the character glass

Eleven pieces, and the run of them is the reason people come to look at the case. Every one is blown as the object rather than printed onto a tube, and several carry a real five slit dome percolator underneath the joke.

The food run

Ramen is an instant noodle cup blown in glass, 5.4 inches, mid height so the Peak stays usable. Chinese Takeout is a frosted takeout box with an amber glass chopstick for a mouthpiece and a five slit dome perc inside, 5.3 inches. Popcorn is a movie theater bucket down to the red stripes, with a yellow glass spill blown across the top and a red mouthpiece, five slit dome perc, and at 4.7 inches it is the shortest top we carry. Gummy Bear is sculpted as the bear itself, arms and all, which is harder glasswork than it looks, 5.4 inches.

The loud ones

UFO Vortex is a flying saucer mid abduction with a cow suspended in the beam, and the wider vortex body helps with the over-bubbling and spitback the stock Puffco glass is known for. Totally Rad Arcade takes the eighties arcade floor, neon on black. Gaming Flower takes the eight bit reference on a restrained silhouette, 5.8 inches, the cleanest of the character tops. That 70's runs a warm palette and bold repeating pattern that works next to wood and warm lighting. High Jinx is the one with personality and no specific joke to get bored of.

The two outliers

Bowlman Lantern is a camping lantern with a flame shaped bowl inside, a worked splash guard, and a five slit dome showerhead perc doing the actual work. 5.8 inches. Zen Bonsai is the quiet one, bonsai inspired and restrained enough to leave out on a shelf in a room with nothing else in it. If everything else here feels like too much, that is the one.

Empire Glassworks and BigFUN!

Empire Glassworks Sriracha · wet, single slit perc, 5.5" x 2.0"

Empire Glassworks do not mass produce. Every piece in the line is worked by hand, so the one that arrives is not identical to the photo. The Sriracha bottle is their most recognizable form, and a matching carb cap comes with it, which matters on a hand worked piece because a generic cap ruins the look. Note that this one is listed for the Peak and the Peak Pro. See the Sriracha.

BigFUN! Tricolor · wet, base connected perc, 5" x 2.8"

Styled as a miniature bong, with a three color gradient running the full length of the body rather than a printed band. Two colorways, Sorbet and Canopy. Real water filtration behind the styling, and it is the cheapest way into a water filtered Peak by a distance. See the Tricolor.

Which one to pick

Fit and cleaning

Every top here drops straight on with no adapter, and the Peak is never included with a top. Cleaning follows the shape of the piece. Simple wet tops drain, iso and rinse hot. Recyclers hold water in places you cannot see, so drain them fully and rinse after each session or you will taste the last one. Multi slit percs clog faster than single slits, so the five slit HEMPER pieces want a hot rinse after each session and iso weekly. Sculpted and worked glass has more corners for residue to catch on, so use warm iso, agitate gently and avoid thermal shock.
