Induction heating in a titanium chamber. The Switch 2 is the e-rig that stopped pretending a coil is the same thing.

Most e-rigs press a heater against ceramic and hope. The Switch 2 runs an alternating magnetic field through a Grade 2 titanium chamber so the metal heats itself, evenly, from every direction at once. An infrared sensor reads the real chamber temperature the whole time instead of guessing from the heater, which is why this thing can hold a number instead of drifting off it.

That is what buys you the range. 250 to 650 degrees in single degree steps, five presets on the device, and full control from the app. Three heating modes let you shape the entire cycle rather than just pick a temp. Descent cools as you go, the way a banger actually behaves. Ascent climbs the way torching does. Steady holds flat no matter how hard you pull.

Fifty heating cycles per charge off LiFePO4 cells, a full recharge in an hour, and the Drop loading tool is in the box, which almost every other brand makes you buy separately.

Care
